About RSS

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an alternative means of accessing the vast amount of information that now exists on the world wide web. Instead of the spending time browsing the AAMI web site for the latest media articles you can set up a RSS feed and the latest information will be sent directly to you.
2

How do I receive and read the RSS information sent to me?

In the same way you need a web browser to view web pages you need a RSS reader (a piece of software similar to a web site browser) to view your RSS feeds. You can download and install one for free or use a free online version. To find a RSS reader simply use your preferred search engine with the keywords "free RSS reader" and choose one.
3

I have a RSS reader now, how do I set up an AAMI Media Centre Article RSS feed?

In your RSS reader simply set up a 'New Channel' or 'New Feed', this will require a link to the AAMI RSS feed. To obtain the RSS link simply click the orange RSS icon below and cut and paste the web site address of that page into your RSS reader. Close the web page once you have copied the AAMI RSS site address.

Once you have successfully set up the AAMI media centre RSS feed as a channel in your RSS reader you will have the latest articles delivered to your RSS reader the instant they are available online.
