The following policy types will not be shown online: Motorcycle Insurance, Caravan Insurance, Contents Fire & Theft (renter's) Insurance, International Travel Insurance, Business Insurance, Life Insurance, Accidental Death Insurance, Income Protection Insurance or Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance.

Motor and Home insurance payments up to $5,000 can be made using Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Your reference number is displayed in the bottom left hand corner on your notice. For covernotes and quotes, policy schedules will be posted within 5 business days.

Other ways to renew your insurance policy 

  • Phone

Call 1300 369 708 to pay for your renewal. You'll need your credit card details and renewal notice on hand when you call. Note this service is not available for CTP and Business Insurance customers. You can also call 13 22 44, and an AAMI staff member will process your payment.

  • Mail

Complete your insurance renewal notice or Pay By Account slip and post it, along with a cheque covering your premium: GPO Box 5356, Sydney 1176.

Business Insurance customers:
GPO Box 2470, Adelaide,
South Australia 5001.

 
  • BPAY

Use your bank account to pay, using the biller code and your reference number (located next to the BPAY logo on your payment notice/account). 

BPAY is not available for CTP customers.

  • Post Office

Visit your nearest Australia Post Office to pay your insurance over the counter.

Please note: Claim Online is not available for
Third Party Property Damage (Car or Motorcycle), International Travel, Business, Life, Income Protection, Accidental Death or Compulsory
Third Party (CTP) policy types. During times of a significant weather event, this timeframe may be extended beyond 2 working days due to the increase in claims being lodged.
