We recognise your good driving record. Once you’ve held an AAMI Rating One for three consecutive years, we’ll give it to you for life, at no extra cost. No matter how many accidents you have in the future. See page 30 for details.
Agreed value or market value, whichever is higher
When you insure your car with AAMI, the amount covered is the higher of its agreed value and market value. If we declare your car a write-off and its market value at that time is higher than the agreed value, we will pay the market value. See pages 22 for details.

Lifetime Repair Guarantee

Accident rental car
Our accident rental car service can provide you with a rental car at a low daily rate while your car is being repaired. When you are an AAMI Rating One driver, you can obtain an even lower daily rate by pre-purchasing this benefit when you commence or renew your policy. See page 23 for details.
Theft rental car (if your car is stolen)
If you’re unfortunate enough to have your car stolen, we can provide you with a rental car for up to 14 days. See pages 22-23 for details.
Refund of emergency costs
If you’re in trouble over 100 km from home, we can help with the refund of emergency costs. See page 25 for details.
AAMI Skilled Drivers Course
