AAMI customers affected by Perth bushfires can lodge claims in person at the evacuation centre

By  AAMI

AAMI staff will be available to lodge claims and help customers affected by the Perth fires at the official evacuation in Swanview.

Located at Brown Park in Swanview (on the corner of Amherst Road and Salisbury Road), the Customer Response Team (CRT) staff members can act as a self-sufficient mobile office. As a part of the Suncorp Group, AAMI staff can also lodge claims for  Suncorp Insurance, GIO, Vero, Shannons and Apia customers.

Reuben Aitchison, Corporate Affairs Manager for AAMI said the company had invested in the latest mobile technology to ensure customers get the best possible claims service.

“Having AAMI staff members on the ground in affected areas allows our customers to commence the claim process even if they don’t have access to their property, or are without power or telecommunications,” Mr Aitchison commented.

If customers cannot get to the evacuation centre, they can also make a claim by calling 13 22 44 or online at www.aami.com.au

Claims information and AAMI CRT locations can be found on the AAMI social media pages:
