AAMI Driving Test Competition Terms and Conditions
PARTICIPATION
1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by AAI Limited, ABN 48 005 297 807 trading as AAMI ("
2. The Promoter has appointed Mushroom Creative House Pty Ltd, ABN 75 120 483 589 (“The Promotional Agency”) to manage communications with prize winners and facilitate the delivery of the prize pool.
3. All entry instructions and prize information provided by the Promoter at the point of entry form part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
4.The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are Australian residents aged 18 years or older at time of entry; (ii) possess a valid driver’s license issued by a state or territory in Australia that allows you to legally operate a vehicle; and (iii) are not directors, management or employees, or their immediate family members, of the Promoter or its related companies, its agencies, or other companies associated with, or benefiting from, the Competition ("Eligible Entrant").
5.Competition entry commences at 12.00AM AEST on 27 September 2025 and closes at 11.59PM AEDT on 9 February 2026 ("Entry Period"). Except as otherwise stated, all times are Sydney, NSW time.
ENTRY
6. In these conditions:
“Competition Website” means; https://www.aami.com.au/aami-driving-test.
“AAMI Driver Rewards” means the safety tool, available under ‘Driver’ through the AAMI App, which allows you to record and score your driving against some driving behaviors as outlined at www.aami.com.au/driver-rewards.
“Driver Score” means your average trip rating as calculated and averaged over time through AAMI Driver Rewards.
7. To enter the Competition, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period:
a. If they have not already done so, download the AAMI App, click on 'Driver' and follow the prompts to onboard for AAMI Driver Rewards (including enabling location and motion data).
b. In the AAMI App, click on the AAMI Driving Test banner and complete the competition entry questions.
c. Opt in to agree to these conditions as well as consenting to receive AAMI brand marketing communications and not opt out during the Entry Period; and
d. Register a Driver Score of 95 points or above at 11.59PM on the 2nd Monday of each month (refer to condition 17(a)) to receive one entry to the relevant monthly prize.
e. Eligible Entrants who have qualified for any of the monthly prize draws during the Entry Period with a Driver Score of 95 points or above will also receive one entry into the major prize draw to win one (1) of five (5) major prizes.
8. It is a condition of entry that Eligible Entrants consent to receive AAMI marketing communications and do not opt out during the Entry Period. If you remove your consent to receive AAMI marketing communications during the Entry Period, you will be removed from the Competition and all prize draws.
9. Entrants may only enter the Competition in their own name. Each entry must comply with these terms and conditions.
10. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Entry Period. Entries will be deemed received at the time that all necessary requirements under condition 7 have been met.
11. Cost of entry via the internet and AAMI App is free, but internet connection and data usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.
12. The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device, desktop computer or similar electronic device is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry.
13. The Promoter may with reasonable grounds declare an entry invalid or disqualify any entrant that tampers with the entry process or benefits from such tampering, submits an entry that is incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions, or otherwise acts in a manner that is disruptive, dishonest or calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Competition.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to require each winner to verify the validity of their entry within a reasonable requested time, including but not limited to their identity and eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who does not satisfy any entry criteria in these conditions.
DRAWS AND PRIZES
15. For the monthly prize draws, all valid entries (as set out in condition 7) will be entered into the relevant prize draw. The same process will apply for all valid entrants for subsequent monthly prize draws (including entries who have previously won a prize in the monthly prize draws).
16. For the major prize draw, all valid monthly prize draw entries received during the Entry Period (including winning monthly prize draw entries) will be entered into the major prize draw.
17. All prize draws will take place at Level 2, 11 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 as follows.

b. The major prize draw will take place at 11:00AM on 18 February 2026 in the presence of an independent scrutineer. Major prize winners will be published to the Competition Website at www.aami.com.au/aami-driving-test by 25 February 2026.
18. Monthly prizes: There are twenty-three (23) prizes to be won each month from October 2025 to February 2026 (total value per month is $8,400), one-hundred and fifteen (115) prizes in total over the Entry Period (total value of the monthly prize draw pool is $42,000). The first twenty-three (23) valid entries randomly drawn in each monthly prize draw will win a prize, these will be allocated in descending order from 1st to 23rd as listed in the table below. These prizes are subject to any conditions imposed by the supplier including expiry dates (if any), and are not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged after it has been delivered to the winner.

19. Major prizes: There are five (5) major prizes to be won. The first five (5) valid entries randomly drawn in the major prize draw will each win a major prize. Each major prize consists of return flights (economy class airfares, valued up to $2,000 per prize) from the winner’s closest capital city for two (2) people to travel to an Australian holiday destination (from 3 predetermined destination and accommodation options as set out in the table in condition 19(a) and stay for five (5) nights in four (4+) star accommodation at pre-determined property (twin share, valued up to $4,650), premium car hire with Europcar (valued up to $1,200), Ampol Petrol Voucher (value $150) and a pre-paid Mastercard Voucher to use as spending money for the trip (value $2,000). Hire car is only available to winners 21 years or older. If the winner is under the age of 21 years, the value of the car hire ($1,200) will be added to the value of the pre-paid Mastercard Voucher (totaling $3,200 value).

b. All components of the major prize must be taken together and when offered or will be forfeited. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with other travel discounts or special offers, and frequent flyer points will not be accrued. c. The winners must nominate their preferred destination and travel dates and confirm in writing to The Promotional Agency before 30 March 2026. The Promotional Agency will use best endeavors to accommodate the winners’ preferences, subject to availability, and within the nominated value limitations. For clarity, the winner and their travel companion must travel before 30 September 2026 and at the same time (departing from and returning to) the same major Australian domestic airport serviced by the airline. d. All bookings are subject to the relevant prize supplier's terms and conditions that will be provided to the winner. Please contact the Promoter for more information on the supplier terms and conditions. e. The winner and their travelling companion(s) are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary documents and permissions to travel to the relevant destination and utilize the prize elements (including a valid driver’s license) f. The total value of the major prize pool is up to $50,000 including GST depending on the winners’ points of departure, chosen destination, timing (peak or non-peak periods) and availability.
20. All prize values listed are AUD.
21. The Promoter may draw reserve entries in a prize draw and record them in order to use in the instance an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
22. If for any reason any prize(s) remains unclaimed 28 days after the relevant draw date (as specified in condition 17(a) and 17(b)), the prize(s) will be forfeited and a re-draw will take place at 11:00AM on 19 March 2026 at the same place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Unclaimed prizes will be drawn in descending order from highest to lowest value. Winners (if any) will be notified by telephone and email within 2 business days of the re-draw and their details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published online at the Competition Website from 26 March 2026. If the re-draw winners do not take their prize by the time specified by the Promoter, then the prize(s) will be forfeited.
PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO PRIZES GENERALLY
23. The total prize pool is valued at up to $92,000 AUD inc. GST (depending on the major prize winner’s place of departure and holiday destination, and travel dates selected) as at 13 June 2025. A prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier(s). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes or otherwise. 24. Any additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize, are the responsibility of the winner. This includes but is not limited to any additional vehicle options, petrol, hire car liability, travel costs to and from the points of departure, taxes, insurance, spending money, meals, drinks and any other ancillary costs.
25. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take any element of a prize as stated, or does not satisfy any conditions of use for any element of the prize (including conditions imposed by prize providers, such as health, behavior, age and safety requirements), for whatever reason (other than when the prize is unavailable, see condition 26). Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited and no compensation will be provided.
26. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter will substitute alternative goods or services of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of any relevant gaming authority, where required. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if a prize (or part of prize) is unavailable for any reason.
27. Other than as expressly stated in these conditions, a prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash, except at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion and subject to relevant State and Territory legislation.
PRIZE WINNERS
28. The winners will be notified within 2 business days of the relevant draw by a phone call and email, using the details provided in their entry.
29. Monthly prize draw prizes will be delivered via email within 21 business days of the draw date.
30. The major prize notification will include instructions as to how the winner is to claim their prize.
31. The prizes will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter reasonably requires.
32. The winners’ last name, initial of the first name and postcode, will be published on the Competition Website as per the publication dates listed under condition 17.
33. Subject, to the unclaimed prize draw condition 22, and/or where relevant, to any directions given by a relevant gaming authority, if a prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promoter has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner 28 days from the relevant draw date, then the prize will be forfeited.
GENERAL
34. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
35. If this Competition is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way by unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s control (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, acting reasonably and to the extent necessary to address the unforeseen circumstances and subject to the approval of any relevant gaming authorities, where required.
36. Subject to any rights you may have under any applicable law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; or (iv) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.
37. If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will, acting reasonably, consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
38. A winner accepts a prize at their own risk. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting a prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.
39. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies (including the Promotional Agency) and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and (ii) any liability for personal injury or death. To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
40. If requested by the Promoter and agreed by the winner, the winner will participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize, and consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material related to the Competition in any media at any time without notification or compensation, financial or otherwise. 41. Apple, the Apple logo and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. Apple Inc is not a sponsor of this Competition and is not involved in the Competition in any way.
PRIVACY STATEMENT AND MARKETING CONSENT
42. Entrants’ personal information is collected from entrants by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable the Promoter and its agents to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, where applicable, publicise relevant driving statistics, and the winners. The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoter, including prize suppliers and deliverers, marketing agencies and IT providers, and to gaming authorities, media outlets and related companies. The winner’s name will also be published on the Competition Website. By participating in the Competition, Eligible Entrants consent to these uses and disclosures of their personal information.
43. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Competition. All personal information is handled in accordance with these conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Information about how to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds about you, or complain, can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available online at www.aami.com.au/privacy.
44. Entry into the Competition also entitles the Promoter and any related companies that use the AAMI brand (“we”/”us”) to let the Eligible Entrant know from time to time about news, offers, products and services they might be interested in (by any medium, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, entrants’ personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services. We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from entrants or others, with the information we, or other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about entrants. We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each Eligible Entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Entry Period.
