Are there any policies I can’t renew online?
A few of our policies (Life Insurance, Accidental Injury and Income Protection) can’t be paid for using our online system. However, you can still make a payment easily by direct debit or credit card.
For all other AAMI insurance products, you can renew your policy online via our Pay Your Policy page.
How do I update my credit/debit card details?
If you pay for your policy in instalments and recently gotten a new card or a payment has been rejected due to incorrect details, you can easily fix it. All you have to do is log in to your AAMI online account, find the policy you want to update, click on ‘View my policy’ from the pop up, then select the ‘Change payment details’ tab.
What happens if I’ve missed a payment?
At AAMI, we know that sometimes in life not everything goes to plan. If you have missed a payment, it’s best you try to make it as soon as possible, or contact us to discuss your situation further.
Missing payments for longer than a month can result in a cancelled policy, and after 14 days you may lose your ability to have a claim paid to you.
