A day on the green
We’re a co-major partner of this favourite live music series, which attracts some of the most popular international and home grown artists to some of Australia’s finest wineries and parkland. Good food, fine wine and great music in magnificent locations. Who could ask for more!
AAMI Victoria Derby
The first day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival – AAMI Victoria Derby Day - is considered by many racing purists to be the best single day of thoroughbred racing in Australia, if not the world. It includes the only all-Group race day on the Aussie racing calendar - the AAMI Victoria Derby (Group 1) race - which was first run in 1855, six years before the Melbourne Cup. That makes it the oldest and most prestigious horse race in Australia!
Victoria SES Partnership
Our long-standing partnership with the Victoria SES started in 2002. Since then, we’ve contributed over $4.5 million towards equipment and tools to support their brave rescue work, as well as advertising and community awareness.

Making our roads safer
Since 1982, we’ve been running our free Skilled Drivers course where drivers under 25 are instructed in safe driving techniques using their own cars. Research shows that those having attended the course take these safe driving habits into adulthood. That means 85,000 safer drivers since we started the course!

Supporting the Industry
AAMI Apprentice Support Program
Every year, we contribute around a million dollars to help repairers recruit and train high-calibre apprentices. The scheme also helps youngsters with financial difficulty, to keep them in the industry. Good for the apprentice, good for the industry!
AAMI TAFE Grants Program
Significant changes in materials and technology demand the latest repair techniques and advance equipment. So for the past 15 years, we’ve offered up to $40,000 in grants each year to help TAFE colleges and training institutes keep up with the latest in vehicle technology and repair standards.
