How do I get the NSW small business stamp duty exemption?
Stamp duty is a NSW government charge calculated on the premium paid to establish insurance, collected by us and paid to Revenue NSW. Eligible New South Wales small businesses may be able to apply for an exemption on paying stamp duty for certain business insurance and commercial vehicle insurance policies.
To see if your business could be eligible, visit the Revenue NSW website or seek professional advice. If you are eligible, you can call us on 13 22 44 or email us at email@example.com so that we can provide you with the approved form you need to declare your exemption.
