Got a question? AAMI has you covered.
How do I know if the Coverage Checker applies to my cover?
If you purchased or renewed your AAMI Comprehensive Car insurance after 19 June 2018, the version of the PDS (Product Disclosure Statement) that powers the Coverage Checker applies to you, so the tool can help you to understand your cover.
If you purchased your AAMI Comprehensive Car Insurance prior to 19 June 2018 and have not yet renewed your cover, you’ll be subject to the terms of a previous PDS. A copy will have been sent to you via email or post, and you can also download it here under “Past documents”. Since that PDS is different, the facts may not apply to you.
Some sections in the PDS relate to Optional Extras, such as Windscreen Cover and Roadside Assist. If you’re unsure of your level of cover, please log in to My Account to check your Certificate of Insurance.
If you don’t have a current AAMI Comprehensive Car Insurance policy, you will have been issued with a different PDS by your insurer. You can, however, still use the Coverage Checker tool to compare your coverage with AAMI’s Comprehensive Car Insurance policy
