What it can do?
- It can help you with questions about payments, renewals, excesses, and updating your policy details in your My Account online.
- It can direct you to the most relevant page on our website, so you don't have to go clicking around for it.
- It can recognise when it can't help you and will connect you to a skilled Live Agent or one of our responsive call centre operators.
- It learns with every interaction. So, if it doesn't have a direct answer for your question right now, it may be able to address it soon.
What it can’t do
- It can't offer you financial advice . Think of it as your helpful digital concierge, able to point you in the right direction and offer up the facts.
- It can't answer insurance product related questions. Instead, it will point you to the most reliable source of information – the Product Disclosure Statement and other policy documents.
- It can't give you a quote - but it can show you where to get one.
- It can't pass on your contact information or personal details.
What does the future hold?
We're monitoring the AAMI Virtual Assistant's performance as it responds to each and every question you ask. This data will be used to improve the depth, breadth and overall quality of replies, as well as prioritise which insurance-related topics it will be trained on next.
