Who do I list as an additional driver?
You must list anyone who drives your car regularly as an additional driver on your policy. That means anyone you can think of who is likely to drive your car more than once throughout your policy period (except learner drivers, who don’t need to be listed).
Your premium is calculated based on the drivers you list, including their age, gender, and driving history. Listing additional drivers is important so we can provide you with the appropriate level of cover that all drivers of your car needs. It also means that if someone who isn’t listed is driving when an incident occurs, you may have to pay a higher excess, your claim may not be paid in full, or it may not be paid at all. So if you’re in doubt, list them.
