Clangers for Good

AAMI is committed to supporting local communities and grassroots footy through our AFL partnership. At AAMI, we are used to dealing with life’s clangers, and pride ourselves in turning something bad into something good by helping our customers and the community build resilience and recover when life doesn’t go to plan. There are always a few clangers in a good footy match, and for every ‘clanger’ during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, AAMI is donating $10 to community footy, with 8 lucky clubs across the season taking home up to $15,000 each.

Since its inception of the AAMI Clangers for Good initiative in 2020 AAMI has donated more than $360,000 'clanger cash' to local footy clubs across Australia. The impact of the program is evidenced by the strong entries received every year and the positive feedback from the successful clubs. To date initiatives supported through the funding include rebuilding of facilities, equipment and uniforms to help expand the game for girls and women, game transportation, implementation of mental health programs and upgrading facilities and change rooms.
