What is AAMI Extra Cover Portable Valuables?

Extra Cover Portable Valuables Cover, for an additional premium, provides additional cover for accidental loss or damage for valuable personal items that are normally carried with you outside your home. This includes things like jewellery, handbags, wallets, glasses and more.

If you need cover for certain items above $1000, like your laptop or mobile, they need to be individually specified on your policy under Extra Cover Portable Valuables – specified items.

Insuring these items will increase your premium, but they’ll be covered for accidental loss or damage at and away from your home. This is an Optional Cover for combined  AAMI Home and Contents Insurance and Contents Only Insurance. Limits, conditions and exclusions apply.
