Take control with AAMI

You sure can. Visit our Payments page to check out all the ways you can renew your policy online, including using your Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, or via BPAY.

You should be able to access and download details of your last renewal by logging into My Account, provided that:

• you paid for your renewal in full
• the policy isn’t currently due for renewal, and
• there hasn't been any changes applied to your policy since its starting date, 

After you log in, you’ll see a list of your policies under ‘Insured Policies List’. Select the one you want your renewal details for, click on the ‘Get documents’ tab, and there should be an option for a paid renewal document.

You have the freedom to select which email address you want your document to go to; it will default to the email address we have on file for you but you can easily change that in My Account also.

To make your life easier, you can make a number of changes to your home insurance policy online. Through My Account, you can:

1. change the sum of contents you’re insured for
2. update the sum of your insured building
3. update the unspecified portable items included in your cover,
4. and much much more.

Simply log in, click on the ‘My policy list’ link, and select the relevant policy you want to update. From the ‘Update my policy’ tab, you’ll find several options for making changes.

Some of the things that can’t be altered online include:

1. changing your cover type (for example, from Property Owner to Landlord), and
2. changing the specified portables listed on your cover.

For these things please contact us - we’ll be happy to help you out.

To update your policy details, sign in to your My Account and find the policy you want to update, then select 'Update policy' from the pop-up menu.

From there, you can make changes to your policy details.

Many of AAMI’s policies allow you to get a copy of your insurance certificate (also known as a Certicificate of Insurance or COI) through your online account. These are:

• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Third Party Insurance
• Home Building & Contents Insurance
• Home Building Insurance
• Home Contents Insurance
• Contents (Fire & Theft) Insurance
• Building for Landlords Insurance
• Contents for Landlords Insurance

You just have to log in, choose the policy you want the certificate for, then click on ‘View my policy’. You’ll see an option to ‘Get documents’ under the ‘Update my policy’ tab, where you’ll find the insurance certificate as well as any other documents available for you to download.

If your policy isn’t on this list, you’ll need to give us a call on 13 22 44 so that we can arrange to send a copy of your insurance certificate for you.

We sent an email of your quote to you when it was first made. Search your inbox to retrieve the email and the reference number which will be on the document. Depending on when the quote was made, it may or may not still be valid. If it has expired you will need to get a new quote.
