Windscreen excess waiver

With this optional cover, you won’t have to pay the basic excess for the first claim you make in any period of insurance for your vehicle’s broken windscreen or window glass. The basic excess will apply for subsequent claims.

This only applies to cars, utes, 4WDs or vans with a carrying capacity of less than 2 tonnes.

Rental vehicle after accident

If your vehicle can’t be driven or needs repair after an event (other than theft) that’s covered under your policy, we’ll pay the cost of hiring a similar replacement vehicle (subject to availability). The most we’ll pay for any one event is $1,500.

Protected No Claim Bonus

With this optional cover, a claim that would otherwise affect your no claim bonus will not do so – provided you haven’t made a previous claim within the same period of insurance for the same vehicle.

Damage to towed vehicles

If your vehicle is a registered tow truck, we can cover loss or damage – caused by an event we cover under the policy – to any vehicle being towed, retrieved or carried by your vehicle. The most we will pay for any one event is $150,000.
