Paying for your CTP is simple in the ACT - since your CTP Insurance is attached to your registration, you just need to select AAMI as your preferred CTP insurer when making payment for your registration.
CTP Insurance is linked to the vehicle, not the owner. That means if you sell your vehicle the CTP will be transferred to the new owner, and if you buy one, it will be transferred to you.
Just make sure that you advise Access Canberra.
Since your CTP Insurance is connected to your registration, you’ll need to update your address, phone number, and other contact information with Access Canberra.
Cancelling your CTP Insurance means cancelling your vehicle’s registration, which you can choose to do at any time. Obviously after you’ve cancelled your registration, you won’t be allowed to drive your vehicle anymore.
You can lodge your request to cancel at your nearest Access Canberra Service Centre.
