What is CTP?

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance is the insurance attached to the registration of your vehicle, which provides cover to the at fault driver, against compensation claims from people injured in a motor vehicle accident.

What is changing and what does this mean for you?

The CTP insurance process is changing in South Australia, which means from 1 July 2019 you will need to choose a CTP Insurer from one of the Government-approved insurers when renewing your vehicle registration or registering a new vehicle. Lucky for you, AAMI is a Government-approved CTP Insurer in South Australia.

AAMI has been in the Australian insurance industry for over 45 years and has experience as a CTP Insurer in other states, providing CTP Insurance to over 2.5 million motorists in Australia. Rest assured, we can take care of yours in South Australia too.
