Whenever you are building a home or doing renovations, you know that it takes some time to finish the job. This is why it may be comforting to know that uninstalled building fittings, fixtures and materials are insured as part of the building under AAMI Home Building Insurance.
What's covered
We cover uninstalled building fittings, fixtures and materials to be used for the building but only when kept in a locked and secured building at the insured address.
What’s not covered
There are some instances where you will not be covered, such as, if the loss or damage was caused by an uninsured event.
