Do I have to pay an excess for an accident that is not my fault?
If your car is insured and involved in an incident, we agree that the driver of your car is not at fault, and you can give us the name and address of the at fault driver and the registration number of the at fault car, you will not have to pay an excess.
Should you be unable to provide details of the at fault car at the time of lodging your claim, you will be required to pay the applicable excess. If, at a later time, you are able to provide the required details, then the excess can be refunded.
