AAMI Clangers for Good Community Choice
Competition Conditions

Participation

1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by AAI Limited, ABN 48 005 297 807, trading as AAMI (“the Promoter”), of Level 23, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.   
2. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
3. The Competition is only open to Eligible Entrants. An Eligible Entrant is:
   1. a club that successfully submits an eligible entry into the AFLW Season 8 Clangers for Good 2023 Promotion [Terms and conditions (aami.com.au)]; and:
   2. is not selected by the Judges in that competition as one of the 4 entries judged to be the best in the AFLW Season 8 Clangers for good 2023 Promotion; and
   3. the Judges have selected as one of the next best 4 entries suitable for the AAMI Clangers for Good Community Choice Competition.
4. Voting commences at 10am on 24th October 2023 and closes at 11.59pm on 24th November 2023 ("Voting Period"). Except as otherwise stated, all times are Brisbane time.

Voting

5. To vote in the Competition, Voters must, during the Voting Period:
   1. Visit https://www.aami.com.au/competitions/active/clangers-for-good.html; and
   2. Select the club entry they consider the best and hit submit.
   3. Voting is open to individuals who: (i) are Australian residents aged 18 years or older at time of entry and (ii) are not directors, management or employees, or their immediate family members, of the Promoter or its related companies or agencies associated with the Competition ("Eligible Voters").
6. Multiple votes are permitted, but each entry must comply with these conditions.
   Voting must be received by the Promoter during the Voting Period. Cost of entry via the internet is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.

Judging and Prize(s)

7. This Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner(s).
8. There is one prize to be won.
9. Entries received during the 2023 AFLW Clangers for Good competition will be reviewed by a panel of judges from AAMI, the AFL and external agency Engage Interactive on the 17th of October 2023.
10. Four clubs will be shortlisted to be eligible for the AAMI Clangers for Good Community Choice Prize. Winning clubs from the 2023 Clangers for Good competition are not eligible to be shortlisted for the Community Choice award.
11. The Four (4) shortlisted clubs will be notified on or before Friday 20th October and displayed at https://www.aami.com.au/competitions/active/clangers-for-good.html
12. Voting will be open between 10am on the 24th October 2023 and 11.59pm on the 24th November 2023 (“Voting Period”).
13. Eligible Voters will be asked to vote for the shortlisted club who has the best entry.
14. The club with the most number of votes received during the Voting Period will be deemed the “winner”.
15. In the event that there is a tie in the number of votes, the Promoter will accept more than one winning club and donate the Prize by dividing it evenly to between each club with the same number of winning votes.
16. The total prize pool is valued at $10,000 AUD including GST. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes or otherwise.
17. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take any element of a prize as stated, or does not satisfy any conditions of use for any element of the prize (including conditions reasonably imposed by event organisers or staff, or other prize providers, such as health, behavior, age and safety requirements), for whatever reason. Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited and no compensation will be provided.
18. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of equal or higher value. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if a prize (or part of prize) is unavailable for any reason.
19. Other than as expressly stated in these conditions, a prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash, except at the Promoter’s reasonably exercised discretion.

Prize Winner(s)

20. The winner will be notified by an external supplier, Engage Interactive by phone call and email on or before 20th November 2023 using the details provided in their Clangers for Good competition entry. The name of the Community Choice winning club will also be published at https://www.aami.com.au/competitions/active/clangers-for-good.html
21. If a Prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promotions Partner has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner within 2 business days; or (ii) a winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible to win a prize in accordance with these conditions, the relevant prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the next Eligible Entrant Any resulting winner(s) will be notified as above. That process will be repeated if required.
22. The winning club will be required to provide their bank account details, which will be collected by the Promotions Partner in order to facilitate the bank transfer. The relevant bank account must be in the name of the winning club and not a third party. The Promotions Partner will be the only party to receive the winning clubs bank details,
23. The Promoter and any related third-party companies and affiliates including the promotions partner will not be liable for any loss related directly or indirectly to the prize, including should the winning club provide incorrect or incomplete entry details.
24. The prize(s) will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter reasonably requires in its sole discretion.

General

25. If for any reason beyond the control of the Promotor, this Competition is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
26. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for matters outside of its control that involve: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); or (v) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.
27. All of the Promoter's decisions in relation to all aspects of this Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
28. A winner accepts a prize at their own risk. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting a prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.
29. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect, special, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; and (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
30. The winner must provide the Promotor with reasonable notice if they do not wish to participate in any promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize, free of charge, as the Promoter reasonably may request, and must provide the Promotor with reasonable notice if they do not consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material in connection with the Competition in any media at any time and acknowledges the Promotor will not provide prior notification or compensation, financial or otherwise for such participation and or use.
