What Home Insurance do I need?

The type of Home Insurance policy you take out will depend on your situation – a homeowner might take out combined Home and Contents Insurance, for example, whereas a renter may just need to cover their contents, and Landlord Insurance may suit someone who rents out their property.

Insured Events

These are the events that you can make a claim for, if they cause loss or damage to your home or contents (or both, of course, if you have a combined policy). There are limits, conditions and exclusions which apply, so check out the policy documents to make sure you’re up to speed.

Insured Events listed above apply to Home Insurance products, excluding Fire & Theft Contents Insurance which is limited to loss or damage by Fire, Theft or Burglary. We also do not insure you for bushfire, storm, flood or tsunami in the first 72 hours of your policy (very limited exceptions apply). For full terms, conditions and exclusions, please read the PDS.
